The 25th Precinct covers the northern half of East Harlem above 116th Street, extending toward the East River. The neighborhood is undergoing change as investment spreads north from the Upper East Side and South Harlem. Wards Island Park and the East River Footbridge connect the precinct to Wards Island at the East River.
