The 122nd Precinct covers Staten Island's mid-island east shore, including Rosebank, Grasmere, Dongan Hills, and South Beach. The FDR Boardwalk at South Beach is the best ocean beach on Staten Island. Rosebank's hillside contains the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum honoring the inventor credited with early telephone work. The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge approaches from the north.
